”I was conducting workshops at different high schools, which was an interesting experience for me” • Diana Saladze

Diana Saladze is a Georgian volunteer who joined Asociatia GEYC, in Romania and carried out her short-term European Solidarity Corps project funded by Erasmus +. Read what she says about her experience:

“Hello, my name is Diana, I’m 22 years old. I’d like to share my thoughts and experiences about the ESC project in Bucharest, Romania.

Volunteer programs have always attracted and appealed to me. I have been involved in various projects since the age of 15. On 1.04.2025, I participated in one of the ESC projects, the GEYC organization.

The project was about the environment and sustainability. I was conducting workshops at different high schools, which was an interesting experience for me.

I also had the chance to participate in the planning and implementation of various events. One of the 2-day events, the ART festival, was held in Câmpina, a small town in Romania, where I met other volunteers from this organization.

Participating in GEYC gave me quite a good experience and interesting memories”.
