On 25 September, an online information session titled “New Technologies for Funding Social Initiatives” took place. The session introduced organisations and individuals working for social good to digital opportunities that can complement traditional funding methods and support the development of their initiatives.

The session explored the potential of artificial intelligence, blockchain, NFTs and digital products. Discussions focused on how these technologies can support new fundraising models, digital content creation, connections with supporters and greater visibility for social initiatives.

Potential partners were introduced to the Social Impact NFT – SINFT platform, which offers opportunities to learn, create digital products and explore new approaches to funding social initiatives. The session focused on practical applications and required no prior technical knowledge.

The event highlighted how emerging technologies can offer additional tools for turning social ideas into action and strengthening organisations’ financial sustainability.
