Our partner organizations need Georgian volunteers for 2 different ESC project. Please have a look on longer descriptions on given links and send an application through given emails below.
Project 1: The main task of the volunteer is to work with mentally disabled people who live on their own in order to break their cycle of loneliness, restoring/ maintaining social links and helping them to regain their self-confidence. In particular the volunteer will: Help out the social worker; Organize activities with the patients about the country or the passion of the volunteer (cooking, relaxation, helping them to write the newsletter of the association Entracte, painting, acting…) ; Participate in outdoor activities with them ; Participate to the weekly meeting with the team ; Being involved in the life of the association ; The detailed activities will be proposed by the volunteer according to his/her skills and interests and with the support of the pedagogical team. The project will also allow the volunteer to know and develop new pedagogical techniques in term of work with mentally disabled people. During the summer, the volunteer will lead or co-lead an international workcamp.

Project 2: The main task of the volunteer is to work with children and teenagers during their free time in leisure center, to make activities with them and let them discover the country of the volunteer. Secondly the volunteer informs and promotes the differrent possibilities ans structures of youth engagement in the area by doing interviews, writing an article, etc. In particular the activities are: Helping out the team in the leisure center, the welcoming place before and after school and the youth center; Organize activities with the children or youth about the country or the passion of the volunteer; Participate to outdoor activities ; to all the meeting with the team; P; articipate and promote activities around youth engagement in the area; Being involved in the life of the association. The detailed activities will be proposed by the volunteer according to his/her skills and interests and with the support of the pedagogical team.
