Lizi Katamadze is a Georgian volunteer who joined SKE AVGOROU, in Cyprus and carries out her short-term European Solidarity Corps project funded by Erasmus +. Read what she says about her upcoming experience:
”When I read information about this exchange program I was so excited and said- I should try.
I thought that I was the happiest person on Earth when I saw Email where was written that I was selected. Through volunteering I can challenge myself to try something different, achieve personal goals, practice using my skills and discover hidden talents.
This exchange program in Cyprus will help me successfully present my homeland and share our culture to others. This project will enhance my worldview and career opportunities. It will open the way in the international arena and give me the greatest experience. Volunteering also gives me the opportunity to practice and develop my social skills, since I am meeting regularly with a group of people with common interests.
Once you have momentum, it’s easier to branch out and make more friends and contacts.
Volunteering also provides me with renewed creativity, motivation, and vision that can carry over into my personal and professional life. Just try! You can be the next! ” – Lizi Katamadze
